How long have you been kayaking? 13 years, wow how time flies!
Favorite style of paddling? Freestyle kayaking is my favorite, but I like all forms of paddling: everything from sea kayaking to creek boating. Just this year I started Stand Up Paddle Boarding and it's super fun, too!
Favorite places you've paddled? White Nile, Uganda, Futaleufu, Chile . . . noticing a trend? I love big water and big waves.

Who is your favorite athlete/athletic role model? Why?
All the women out there who get outside everyday to do what they love; my grandma for playing tennis at the age of 86, the moms that come back after childbirth and go on to be great athletes, the ladies who don't stop exercising just because it is snowing or raining. I love to see others going for it; it helps to push me, too!
